1. Background

In its long-term vision, "E-Vision 2030," EBARA aims to promote the development of a work environment in which diverse employees can thrive and feel motivated, and to contribute to society in a sustainable manner through business growth. To achieve this, we prioritize safety and health, including the realization of work-life balance and mental health for our employees, and we promote the creation of a safe, secure, and comfortable workplace where each employee can fully demonstrate their capabilities.

2. Overview of EBARA Group Health and Productivity Management

In November 2020, we formulated the "EBARA Group Health Management Declaration" and, in order to ensure that each employee is healthy both physically and mentally, we have created a safety and health plan to promote health management and are operating a PDCA cycle. The health and safety plans of each business site are discussed at the Central Health and Safety Committee, which promotes health and safety activities throughout the EBARA Group, and then reported to the Sustainability Committee, and we work to make continuous improvements across the entire company.
In addition, we are taking the following measures as part of our health management efforts.

  • Thorough measures to prevent infectious diseases
  • Stress relief and communication promotion activities, such as online mindfulness yoga classes
  • 100% participation in regular health checks within the EBARA Group
  • Implementing programs to promote health and prevent lifestyle-related diseases, such as advice on calorie and salt intake
  • Measures against passive smoking: Removal of in-house smoking rooms at all bases
  • Other: Initiatives to address diseases specific to women, initiatives to be considerate of the elderly, etc.

We will continue to focus on maintaining and improving the health of our employees and promote health management to support the safe and secure lives of people around the world.

EBARA Group aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and further enhance its corporate value by addressing key ESG issues based on its long-term vision and medium-term management plan.
