Introduction of Spectee's AI-related disaster prevention and crisis-management solution "Spectee Pro" to support recovery in the event of a disaster

EBARA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") has introduced Spectee's AI disaster prevention and crisis management solution, "Spectee Pro," to quickly carry out recovery activities at pump stations in the event of a disaster.

Japan is surrounded by the sea, and is characterized by having many areas at sea level and many rivers throughout the country. In such an environment, measures to combat increasingly severe water disasters, such as river flooding and landslides caused by typhoons and heavy rains, which have been increasing in number in recent years, are an issue that the entire country of Japan must address, including not only on-site response but also disaster prevention and mitigation.

EBARA introduced Spectee Pro as a disaster prevention and crisis management solution to facilitate on-site response decision-making by quickly and accurately visualizing disaster and risk information based on big data analysis using artificial intelligence (AI). The information gathered includes real-time content posted through social networking services, weather forecasts, river conditions, and data on people and logistics. EBARA will strive to prevent damage from spreading and prolonging while ensuring the safety of workers engaged in disaster recovery by promptly making decisions on local activities that require speed by obtaining accurate data through Spectee Pro program.
