JGC Awarded New Garbage Disposal Facility Development and Operation Project in Izunokuni, Izu City

EBARA ENVIRONMENTAL PLANT CORPORATION (headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo, President: Yoshio Watanabe, hereafter referred to as EBARA ENVIRONMENTAL PLANT) has been awarded the contract by the Izunokuni Municipal Waste Disposal Facilities Union (manager: Toshiko Ono, Mayor of Izunokuni City) for the "Izunokuni Municipal New Garbage Disposal Facility Maintenance and Operation Project". This project uses a Design-Build-Operate (DBO) system to build an energy recovery waste treatment facility and operate it for the next 20 years.
