Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Ebara) will participate as a Marine Tech Grand Prix 2020 partner company in the online seminar "MARINE-TECH Seminar - Marine Sustainability x New Businesses" hosted by Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Leave a Nest) on Tuesday, June 9th. At this seminar, Hiroki Matsui, Aquaculture Business Promotion Project Leader of our Next Generation Business Development Promotion Department, will be taking part in a panel discussion.

1. Background and Objectives

Under the slogan "Supporting the world with passion through technology," Ebara Corporation has set out its long-term vision, "E-Vision 2030," as a goal to contribute to society sustainably and become a globally excellent company through ESG management and contributions to the SDGs.
We support Leave a Nest's management philosophy of "achieving the development of science and technology and contributing to the world," and the purpose of the Marine Tech Grand Prix*, which is organized by the company to promote the development of research results and technology in related fields in order to maximize the benefits we can obtain from the ocean and achieve sustainability at the same time, and have participated as a partner company since 2019.

2. Overview of the MARIN-TECH Seminar
