About the IUVSTA-EBARA Award
EBARA Corporation
Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Ebara) will be hosting the IUVSTA-Ebara Award in cooperation with the IUVSTA (International Union for Vacuum Science, Technology and Applications).
1. Background and Objectives
This award recognizes young researchers who have conducted research and technological development in the field of vacuum that contributes to environmental improvement and reduction of environmental impact. The awards will be presented at IVC-21 (International Vacuum Conference) to be held in Sweden in July 2019.
2. Implementation Outline
- ・ Eligibility: Those who have received a doctoral degree within 10 years by the application deadline

3. Future developments
For over 100 years since its founding, EBARA has been engaged in business that contributes to the fields of water, air, and the environment. Technologies that lead to environmental improvement and reduced environmental impact are in Ebara's DNA.
Ebara will continue to provide products and services such as pumps, as well as contribute to nurturing the next generation of engineers.
