Launch of our first ISO5199-compliant pump GSO for industrial processes

In June 2019, EBARA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") will start selling GSO pumps for industrial processes, mainly in the China and Southeast Asian markets. With the addition of the GSO model to the GS and GSS models already on the market, we will expand our product lineup and expand our global market as a global core product that can cover a wide range of applications from fresh water to chemical liquids, starting with the China and Southeast Asian markets.

The global industrial pump market^*1 is said to be about 1 trillion yen, and there is a demand for high quality, low prices, and short delivery times, especially for plant equipment in Japan and overseas. EBARA has developed a new product, the GSO model, that meets the standards of ^ISO5199*2, ISO2858 international standards that apply mainly to chemical pumps, by utilizing the standardization and mass production technologies cultivated in the standard pump business and the engineering technology cultivated in the custom pump business. In particular, the standards required for vibration and shaft deflection according to ISO 5199 are very strict. This product is EBARA's first ISO5199-compliant product, and we will continue to develop a series of highly reliable EBARA brands for the world in the future.
