We are sponsoring "Work Yearbook 2019" (published by The Asahi Shimbun Company)
Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Ebara) is supporting the "Job Yearbook," a career education support project promoted by The Asahi Shimbun Company.
The "Job Yearbook" is a book published as a supplementary teaching material for career education for elementary and junior high school students, and is donated to all elementary and junior high schools nationwide and to Japanese school libraries overseas.
The "Job Yearbook 2019" introduces 125 themes from 122 sponsoring companies, divided into five categories. Ebara has a section titled "Who will deliver the water?" under the heading "Work that supports the foundations of society." The book, titled "How centrifugal pumps transport water," introduces the mechanism by which centrifugal pumps transport water and various pumps found in our daily lives.
It can be used not only as career-related teaching material, but also as a supplementary teaching material for social studies and as a teaching material for research studies.
