EBARA Corporation (hereinafter, "EBARA") signed a technical cooperation agreement with Teikoku Electric on August 5, 2019 in the pump field for the petroleum refining and petrochemical industries. Based on a long-term partnership between the two companies, Furukawa Electric plans to begin selling the UCWC-type process pump, which combines technologies, in August 2019. We aim to increase our corporate value by providing customers with safety, security and comfort through new products.

As one of our growth strategies, we have entered into a technical business alliance agreement with Teikoku Electric, a leading company in "canned motor pumps," to provide safe and durable pumps that incorporate Teikoku's caned motors and accessories in EBARA's UCW type pumps to the global oil refining and petrochemical industry pump market.
