"Mirai Rikejo - Manufacturing Cafe 2018" event held

On Sunday, March 18, 2018, Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Ebara) will be holding a fashionable and cute manufacturing event for junior and senior high school girls in collaboration with Rikejo, a support service for female science students run by Kodansha Ltd.
At this third event, you can listen to a talk on the theme of "Let's give shape to your dreams" and experience "programming" using a Micro:bit.
There will also be a host of other fun events, such as a networking event with senior female science students who have gone on to university or graduate school.
The idea that "manufacturing = a workplace for men" is a thing of the past. Going forward, Ebara will continue to disseminate that “manufacturing” is a field where women can also play an active role, based on providing products and services, starting with pumps, etc., and will continue to support the improvement of the image of manufacturing sites and the development of engineers who will lead the next generation through social contribution activities, etc.
