EBARA Corporation (hereinafter, EBARA) has shipped a large submersible motor pump to a pumping plant in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. While most submersible motor pumps typically have a diameter of 500 mm or less, the submersible motor pumps we have shipped are one of the largest, measuring 1000 mm.
In recent years, Vietnam, which is experiencing rapid development, has seen a demand for much larger amounts of treated water than ever before in order to cope with flood control associated with population growth and urbanization. The large-diameter pump that we have shipped this time will approximately triple the total discharge volume of the pump station, and will be able to deliver large volumes of sewage collected from the sewer network to the main line. In addition, the improved, lighter, and more compact pumps enable installation in the confined spaces of existing pumping stations.
EBARA will continue to contribute to the development of water infrastructure around the world, backed by its extensive track record and reliability.
