EBARA Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") received the highest and third-stage certification of "Eboshi," which is given by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare to companies with outstanding efforts to promote women's participation in the workplace based on the Law for Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace. In April 2015,
EBARA established a department specializing in diversity promotion under the direct control of the President and CEO, and has been working to promote diversity as a management strategy. To promote the active participation of female employees, we have accelerated the hiring of new graduates, network formation, and career development support with the aim of raising the ratio of female managers. In addition, we have promoted a sense of promotion of diversity within the company, such as implementing diversity management training for managers and supporting the balancing of work and childcare and nursing care to ensure a good work-life balance. These achievements have been recognized as the highest in the company.
EBARA aims to "develop an environment to develop individual abilities regardless of gender, nationality, etc. and introduce a system to enable employees to develop their abilities to the fullest and to develop them at a price appropriate to their abilities" in 2020, in accordance with the management policy. In fiscal 2018, we began working to improve productivity as part of our work style reforms. As a company that promotes women's participation in the EBARA Group, we will continue to promote effective measures so that all female employees of the EBARA Group can "work with enthusiasm," "take on the challenge of exciting work" and "generate the best performance."
