EBARA CORPORATION

Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") has received the "2017 Best Paper Award" from the Turbomachinery Society of Japan. This is the sixth paper award that Ebara Corporation has received from the Turbomachinery Society of Japan as the lead author.
The paper that won the award this time is "Study on the application of configuration optimization design of industrial vertical multi-stage pumps," published in the Journal of the Turbomachinery Society of Japan, Vol. 45, No. 3, and summarizes the results of joint research with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Configuration optimization technology is an optimal design method that emphasizes pump reliability, and Ebara is conducting joint research with JAXA and Muroran Institute of Technology to apply this technology, which was developed by JAXA, to industrial applications.
Ebara will continue to strive for research and development that leads to "strengthening product competitiveness," which is one of the key measures of E-Plan 2019.
