EBARA CORPORATION

Ebara Corporation (hereafter: Ebara) held a pump technology seminar for 2 days on 2018/6/28 and 29 at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In Cambodia, we have held more than 20 seminars so far. 83 people participated in the seminar, including water officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Phnom Penh Municipal Waterworks Bureau, local government water supply officials, and university students.

Cambodia's main industry is agriculture, and many pumps are used for irrigation, etc. Furthermore, in recent years, demand for pumps for water supply and sewerage has increased in line with urbanization. At the seminar, lectures focused on basic knowledge of pumps and basic plans for pumping stations used in water supply facilities.

Ebara has deepened mutual understanding in countries around the world through international cooperation such as technical guidance. Since the establishment of the EBARA Hatakeyama Seiji Memorial Fund in 1989, more than 250 seminars have been held around the world, with a total of more than 12,000 participants. A total of 6 seminars are scheduled to be held in Thailand, Vietnam, etc. in 2018.

Ebara will continue to not only provide products and services such as pumps, but will also contribute to the development of Southeast Asian countries through international cooperation activities such as technical seminars.
