Brazilian pump subsidiary integrated
Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary in Brazil, Ebara Industrias Mecânicas e Comercio Ltda. (EIMCO) and its subsidiary Thebe Bombas Hidráulicas Ltda.(THEBE)* was absorbed into the company on September 1, 2018, and the company name was changed to Ebara Bombas América do Sul Ltda. (English name: Ebara Pumps South America, abbreviated as EBAS).
This reorganization will integrate EIMCO's deep well submersible motor and pump business and THEBE's land pump business, realizing an optimal production and sales system under unified management.
By integrating the THEBE brand, which is well-known in Brazil, into EIMCO, which has a history of over 40 years, we aim to further strengthen our presence in South America.
