Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Ebara) Head Office Building Dining Hall was certified by the catering department of the "First Healthy Dietary and Dietary Environment" certification system *1 which was started by the "Healthy Dietary Environment" consortium composed of several academic societies such as the Japan Society for Nutrition Improvement.

- 1 We provide healthy meals on a continuous basis at our company cafeterias, in a healthy environment.
- 2 We are promoting the improvement of the food environment by creating an environment in which it is easy to choose nutritionally balanced meals.
- 3 We are proactively working on health management that considers the health of our employees, including in terms of their diet.
The Head Office building cafeteria received the *2 Award from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare for Persons with Distinguished Nutrition Relations last year. In 2016, EBARA was awarded the DBJ Health Rating *3 the highest ranking. In 2017, EBARA was awarded the "Health & Productivity Corporation 2017 (White 500)*4" and has been actively promoting employee health. We believe that the physical and mental health of our employees is an important foundation for our company, leading to improved productivity and a vibrant workplace, and we will continue to actively promote initiatives to improve the health of our employees.

*1 "Healthy Food and Food Environment" Certification System
a system to support health management from the aspect of eating habits by certifying stores and business establishments that continuously provide healthy meals (smart meals) in a healthy environment through restaurants, prepared meals, and office meals. In addition to the seven indispensable items, if there are more than five of the 18 option items, it will be certified as two stars.
*2 Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare's Award
for those who have been committed to improving nutrition for many years and whose achievements are considered to be particularly noteworthy, as well as other exemplary specified meal facilities. In fiscal 2017, less than 100 people and 20 facilities were awarded the award.
*3 "DBJ Health Rating"
"DBJ Health Management Rating" is a proprietary system developed by DBJ that evaluates companies with excellent employee health-consciousness and sets loan conditions according to their evaluation.
*4 Healthcare Management Excellent Corporation 2017 (White500)
for large-scale corporations that practice excellent health management under the Health Management Certification System jointly promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Council.
