1. Background and Objectives

The purpose of this contest is to allow boys and girls across the country to experience the joy of making things and the importance of teamwork, thereby nurturing a spirit of challenge that enables them to think and act independently. Participating teams are made up of two or three students from the third grade of elementary school to the third grade of junior high school, and compete in driving "mechanical performance cars" based on various themes according to the tasks.
Ebara considers creating opportunities for children to become interested in technology and manufacturing to be one of the pillars of its social contributions, and is a special sponsor of the contest, having established the "Ebara Corporation Award."

  • Venue: Tokyo Institute of Technology Indoor Gymnasium

※Regional tournaments will be held from July to August. 594 teams participated. 60 teams that made it through the preliminary rounds will participate in the national tournament.

3. Future developments

Ebara will continue to not only provide pumps and other products and services, but also contribute to nurturing the next generation of engineers through social contribution activities such as creating opportunities for children to become interested in technology and manufacturing.

By working on its medium-term management plan and key ESG issues, the Ebara Group will strive to achieve its management policies and further improve its corporate value, thereby contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).


We will cooperate in training engineers involved in infrastructure development to contribute to the development of a strong industrial base.
