Received an order for the construction and operation of the Saku City/Kitasaku County Environmental Facilities Association Clean Center (waste incineration facility)
Ebara Environmental Plant Co., Ltd., a member of our group, has received an order from the Saku City and Kitasaku County Environmental Facilities Association (Nagano Prefecture) for the "Saku City and Kitasaku County Environmental Facilities Association Clean Center (Waste Incineration Facility) Construction and Operation Project."
This project will receive combustible waste generated by the 10 municipalities in the Saku region, properly process it, and develop a waste incineration facility equipped with highly efficient power generation equipment to make effective use of thermal energy. We will continue to operate the business for 19 years and 6 months, while continuing to properly treat waste through safe and stable operation, actively recovering energy, and contributing to the creation of a recycling-oriented society.
The business operator was selected through a comprehensive evaluation open competitive bidding method, and Ebara Environmental Plant was highly evaluated for its proactive proposals, such as stable treatment and high power generation efficiency using the proven Ebara HPCC21 stoker, as well as a design plan that took into consideration the site's rare location (adjacent to a ski resort).
Ebara Environmental Plant will contribute to the realization of a recycling-oriented society through its basic policies of safe and secure facility development and operation and maintenance, contribution to and revitalization of the local economy, and business operations that emphasize stability and continuity.
