"Mirai Rikejo ~Monozukuri Cafe~ 2017" held
On Sunday, February 12, 2017, Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Ebara) held a fashionable and cute manufacturing event for junior and senior high school girls in collaboration with Rikejo, a support service for female science students run by Kodansha Ltd.
This was the second time the event was held, and featured a lecture by Emi Tamaki, an assistant professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences, Waseda University, who is at the forefront of VR (virtual reality) research, a talk session with Eri Tachibana, a model for fashion magazine ViVi, a workshop incorporating semiconductors, and a networking event with female science students who are currently university students.
Ebara will continue to support women who aim to become engineers and researchers who will lead the future of manufacturing through social contribution activities as well as providing products and services such as pumps.
