EBARA Corporation
Changes in the organizational structure and personnel system
The EBARA Group has formulated and announced a new medium-term management plan E-Plan2019 under the slogan "Untired Challenge for Growth." Aiming to transform the corporate culture into a competitive and challenging corporate culture, the Group will implement the following organizational and personnel system revisions from April.
- 1. Organizational enlargement, flattening
To facilitate smooth collaboration between departments and promote talent development by expanding horizons, we will increase the size of individual organizations. We will also flatten the organizational hierarchy to improve responsiveness and other aspects.
As a result, we will abolish the existing titles of room leaders and group leaders, replacing them with department heads and section heads, thereby clarifying the roles of organizational leaders. - 2. Introduction of a role-based grading system
We will implement a "role classification system" to reform the personnel system for executives and managers, eliminate the seniority-based system, and promote the advancement of human resources, as well as ensure fair compensation based on performance and results. We are also considering introducing a similar system for union members. - 3. Changes to the Officer System, etc.
In accordance with the transition to a company with a Nomination Committee, etc. in the year before last, and the clarification of the Company's officers under the Companies Act into directors and executive officers, we will abolish the executive officer system in April and the director system in July, and unify the treatment of employees according to their roles.
