Pump seminar held in Cambodia
Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") held a pump technology seminar at the Institute of Technology Of Cambodia (ITC) in Cambodia for two days from June 8th to 9th, 2017. A total of 125 students from government agencies, private companies, universities, etc. took the course. The seminar focused on lectures on basic knowledge of pumps and pumps used in water facilities. There was particularly strong interest in the explanation of energy-saving operation of pumps using flow control.
EBARA has deepened mutual understanding in countries around the world through international cooperation such as technical guidance. Since the establishment of the EBARA Hatakeyama Seiji Memorial Fund in 1989, more than 250 seminars have been held around the world, with a total of more than 12,000 participants. A total of five seminars are scheduled to be held in fiscal 2017.
EBARA will continue to contribute to the development of Southeast Asian countries through international cooperation such as technical seminars, in addition to providing pumps and other products and services.
