We received a letter of appreciation from Kanagawa Prefecture

Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") has received a letter of appreciation from Kanagawa Prefecture for its continued participation in the "Forest Regeneration Partner Program." EBARA supports the Kanagawa Forest Regeneration 50-Year Initiative advocated by Kanagawa Prefecture and has been working with the prefecture as a "forest regeneration partner" since 2007 to conserve and regenerate Kanagawa's water source forests. This year, on Sunday, July 23rd, 24 employees and their families participated in the activity, cutting undergrowth in the area planned for planting in the prefectural 21st Century Forest. In addition, through experiences such as playing in the forest, observing nature, and woodworking, the participants were reminded of the importance of forest conservation.
Ebara will continue to contribute to the development of the local community and society through a variety of activities.
※ "Kanagawa Forest Regeneration 50-Year Initiative"
The aim of this initiative is to pass on the rich blessings of Kanagawa's forests to the next generation, and companies and organizations that support the initiative will work with the prefecture to regenerate forests as "forest regeneration partners." Partner companies and organizations will support the prefecture's forest maintenance costs (for about 10 hectares) for a period of five years in principle, and will also work on forest conservation activities.
