Pump seminar held in Vietnam

Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") held a pump seminar at its pump factory in Hai Duong Province, Vietnam on September 27th. This seminar was attended by 27 lecturers and students from the College of Urban Works Construction (CUWC).

In addition to lectures on basic pump technology, the seminar also included practical training in assembling pumps in a factory. In the assembly training, the trainees attached the rotor and upper body of a 300mm double suction volute pump, listening intently to the explanations given by the workers.
The pump factory in Vietnam, which opened in 2016, is a factory that not only produces large pumps and pumps with a variety of specifications, but also handles everything from casting production to pump assembly testing.

EBARA has deepened mutual understanding in countries around the world through international cooperation such as technical guidance. Since the establishment of the EBARA Hatakeyama Seiji Memorial Fund in 1989, more than 250 seminars have been held around the world, with a total of more than 12,000 participants. A total of five seminars are planned for fiscal 2017.

EBARA will continue to contribute to the development of countries in Southeast Asia and South America through international cooperation activities such as technical seminars, in addition to providing pumps and other products and services.
