Pumps donated to Tamasert University in Thailand

EBARA Corporation (EBARA) donated a pump to Tamasert University in Thailand on November 27 as part of its international cooperation activities through technical guidance. The purpose of this seminar is to deepen understanding of the structure and control method of the pump by touching the actual pump.
On the day the pump was presented, a fourth seminar on the pump was held at the university, with about 100 participants, mainly university students studying mechanical engineering at the engineering department. The seminar focused on basic knowledge of pumps, cavitation, and features of the supplied water supply pump unit.
EBARA has deepened mutual understanding around the world through international cooperation such as technical guidance. Since the establishment of the EBARA Hatakeyama Seiji Memorial Fund in 1989, more than 250 seminars have been held around the world, with a total of more than 12,000 participants. A total of four seminars were held in fiscal 2016.
Going forward, EBARA will continue to contribute to the development of Southeast Asian countries not only by providing pumps and other products and services, but also through international cooperation activities such as technical seminars.
