EBARA Corporation (hereafter: EBARA) was a special sponsor of the “8th National Boys and Girls Challenge Creation Contest” hosted by the Inventions Association.
The purpose of this contest is for boys and girls from all over the country to experience the fun of manufacturing and the importance of teamwork, and to develop a spirit of challenge to think and act on their own. Participants competed to drive a “karakuri performance car” named after free themes such as the environment, the future, space, sports, and the local community. 60 teams that broke through the preliminary round with a competition rate of 10 times or more challenged the national tournament.
EBARA regards creating opportunities for children to become interested in technology and manufacturing as one of the pillars of contributing to society. The Mishima Boys and Girls Invention Club team “SURUGA” /work title “Famous Products of Shizuoka” won the “EBARA Seisakusho Award” this year.
EBARA will not only continue to provide products and services, starting with pumps, but will also contribute to the development of engineers who will lead the next generation through social contribution activities, etc.
