Response to the Kumamoto earthquake (2nd report)

We offer our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the Kumamoto earthquake, and our sincere condolences to those who were sacrificed. I sincerely pray for everyone affected by the disaster to recover as soon as possible. As an enterprise involved in the construction and maintenance of infrastructure facilities such as water supply and sewerage, equipment delivery, and services to industrial equipment and construction equipment, etc., the Ebara Group is working on restoration support in disaster-stricken areas with the total strength of the group in order to restore damaged equipment as soon as possible. Furthermore, we reaffirm that continuously delivering products and services to our customers is the Group's greatest mission, and we will work together.


The current status (as of 4/20) of our base in the area affected by the earthquake is as follows.

Kumamoto Office
  • Disaster situation
    There were no human injuries to employees or damage to buildings, etc. related to business continuity.
  • Status
    We are working on pump restoration work locally in cooperation with the Kyushu branch office.

Oita Sales Office
  • Disaster Situation
    There were no effects of the earthquake.
  • Status
    We are operating as usual.

＜Precision and Electronics Business Company＞

Kumamoto Office
  • Disaster situation
    There was no human damage to employees or damage to buildings, production facilities, etc. related to business continuity.
  • Status
    We have started operations as usual on 4/18. However, we have learned that there are employees of partner companies within the business site who have difficulty coming to our office to work due to the disaster situation, and that there are companies among suppliers of parts, etc., where it is difficult to supply them. Currently, we are making every effort to take measures to minimize these impacts.

    There were no human injuries to employees or damage to buildings, etc. related to business continuity.

    We have begun responding to customers in cooperation with Ebara Seisakusho Precision and Electronics Business Company.
