EBARA Bombas Colombia S.A.S., a new company that provides pump sales and service& support, was established in Bogota, the capital of Colombia, at the end of March 2016.

Colombia has seen a surge in foreign investment in recent years. This has led to increased demand for pumps for general industrial and building facilities, water supply pumps for factory facilities, large pumps for water utilities, and irrigation pumps for agriculture. EBARA has been delivering pumps to Colombian water supply facilities and other customers for about 40 years, and will leverage its track record to promote the business.

EBARA also acquired Thebe, a Brazilian company, in December 2015 to strengthen pump sales, service & support throughout South America. EBARA's wide lineup of highly efficient, high-quality pumps ensures a stable water supply. EBARA will continue to contribute to the development of South American countries through the supply of pumps and other products and services.
