Water supply for agriculture

We carry "water" that supports food, such as rice and upland farming.
we are working on agricultural pumps.

Irrigation (irrigation) is used to increase and to supply artificial water to agricultural land where water is insufficient. Evidence of irrigation in the Middle East, such as Mesopotamia and Egypt, has been found since the early B.C. and it has been known that humans have grown crops that cannot be grown by natural precipitation alone since that time. As irrigation plays an extremely large role in social development and the world population continues to grow, it is necessary to raise the productivity of agricultural land. In addition, even in areas where the population is not increasing, agricultural pumps are indispensable for delivering water to such farmland, and EBARA's pumps are also active in Japan and the rest of the world, because the number of farmers is decreasing and the area of agricultural land is limited.

It sends large amounts of water from low reservoirs to farmlands in high places, or moves water at high pressure from rivers to farmlands far away. In recent years, natural disasters such as droughts caused by extreme weather have occurred frequently, and they are used not only in Japan but also in Southeast Asia, supporting agricultural production. Using the technology cultivated in Japan in this way, we will actively work to propose the most appropriate pump design, manufacturing, control system construction, and maintenance according to the topography and climate conditions of each region of the world.
