The Fujisawa Office (Fujisawa Factory) was built in 1965 and established the first mass production system for standard pumps in Japan. The following year, we started production of refrigeration equipment, and now we manufacture a variety of products, including semiconductor-related equipment that is indispensable to our lives. The Fujisawa Plant is also the central base of EBARA Open Laboratory (EOL), which is also EBARA's corporate research organization. At EOL, we aim to foster an environment in which researchers can generate innovation through collaborative research and initiatives with external institutions, and to create new businesses that will lead the next generation.
In addition, we are promoting initiatives that focus on environmental considerations, obtaining ISO 14001 certification, and by carefully separating the waste generated at our facilities, we continue to maintain a waste recycling rate of over 95%.
Going forward, the Fujisawa Plant will continue to improve its production processes on a daily basis in order to further evolve, and will support the Ebara Group's manufacturing while contributing to a wide range of fields as Ebara's main production base.
