Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture is the birthplace of Asahi Kasei Corporation. Asahi Kasei's synthetic resin, which is widely recognized under the Leona™ brand, is manufactured consistently from raw materials in Nobeoka City 【Leona™ PA polyamide Raw material plant】. We have delivered our high efficiency centrifugal chiller model RTBA which is using Low-GWP refrigerant to this plant. Leona™ resin has excellent heat resistance and strength and rigidity as an engineering resin, and its main applications are automotive parts and electronic components, and its demand is increasing worldwide. At this plant, many our large capacity centrifugal chillers have been used for the process cooling of resin production. Our new model RTBA using Low-GWP refrigerant which is effective in Global warming prevention is introduced to Asahi Kasei Corporation ahead of the world.
