EBARA Corporation (EBARA) received the 2022 Best IR Award for the first time in the 2022 IR Award 2022 sponsored by the Japan IR Association (JIRA).
This year, the 27th IR Award is designed to recognize companies which have been highly accredited in the investment community for their understanding and promotion of IR activities. Of the JIRA member companies, 344 publicly-traded companies applied for the 2022 IR Award and a total of 13 companies were selected and received awards: the IR Grand Prix was given to two companies, the Best IR Awards to six, the IR Special Awards to three, and the Best IR Awards for Encouragement to two.
EBARA was selected for the following reasons.(from the JIRA’s news release)
・Top-level management is strongly involved in IR and communicates clear messages.
・Each year, the company has improved its information disclosure materials and opportunities for dialogue, thereby enhancing investor evaluations.
・The content of IR Day and ESG meetings is also enhanced.
As part of its corporate governance reforms, the company focuses on meetings between outside directors and investors.The participants evaluated that these efforts became an opportunity to understand about outside directors who contribute to enhancing corporate value.
EBARA has continuously sought to engage in constructive relationships and actively disclose information between its management including the president, outside directors, and executive officers, and other stakeholders such as investors and securities analysts. With the aim to enhance corporate value, we will further strengthen IR activities that satisfy investors.
