For Environmental Conservation
We continually reduce the impact on the environment derived from our business activities and work on preventing environmental pollution for the conservation of the global environment. Through our business activities, we strive to develop technologies and products that contribute to the formation of a recycling-oriented society and provide all our valued customers with the total solutions*1 that help realize the goal.

Environment Policy
In an effort to protect the ambient environment, we are working towards decreasing the burden that our business activities exert on our natural environment and are continually working to eliminate pollution.

The EBARA Group Environmental Vision "What We Should Be in FY2010" set forth in March 2005 was reviewed and a vision and targets for FY2020 were formulated.

Environmental auditors perform a threefold environmental audit to check compliance with environmental laws and regulations, implementation status of preventive measures against environmental pollution, and the progress of promotion of environmental management activities.
Green Procurement
For all the goods to be procured in the course of business activities, EBARA's workers are encouraged to select goods by taking into consideration their environmental performance in addition to their quality and price.
