Sports Promotion

EBARA Shonan Sports Center, which has 14 full-sized indoor tennis courts that comply with international standards, disseminates information about and promotes tennis and produces a number of top players. While responding to different needs of a broad range of citizens from those wanting to play recreational tennis to those aiming to become world-class players, ESSC has provided guidance to a total of 2.5 million* players since it opened in 198X, and organizes many tournaments for various levels from beginners to advanced. ESSC also offers a program to develop world-class tennis players that is designed to train and develop junior players who wish to have a career as a top player. ESSC is committed to maintaining these efforts with the aim of improving the qualities of children and shaping them into healthy and social people through tennis.

The EBARA Vickies, our women's basketball team, has become the Haneda Vickies Women's Basketball Club. It is now a club team with the status of a general incorporated association that has deep roots in the local community. Through its support for the Haneda Vickies, EBARA is making a contribution to local sports and culture.
