On May 16, 2020, it was confirmed that one employee of a subconctracting company at EBARA Fujisawa Office tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus. Currently we are taking the following measures.
1. About the employee who tested positive
Under the instructions of the Health authority, the infected person is being treated at a designated institution.
2. Workers who were close-contacted with the infected
They are standing by at home and observing follow-ups as instructed by the public health center. At this moment, no health problems such as fever or any symptoms are reported.
The workplace or shared spaces where the infected or the close-contacted people worked are disinfected. Any impact is not on business operations.
We at EBARA sincerely apologize to people in the local area and many concerned stakeholders. We have established “Coronavirus Task Force”; and are putting in place measures such as “in principle, Work from Home” responding to mandates and requests issued by the governmental State of Emergency Declaration and local authorities.
EBARA shall as always consider the health and safety of our customers, business contacts, and all employees as our utmost priority, and commit ourselves to taking precautionary and preventive measures against infection as well as to maintenance of health based on the policies and action plans of the government.
